The View From Saturday

How had Mrs. Olinski chosen her sixth-grade Academic Bowl team? She had a number of answers. But were any of them true? How had she really chosen Noah and Nadia and Ethan and Julian? And why did they make such a good team?
It was a surprise to a lot of people when Mrs. Olinski's team won the sixth-grade Academic Bowl contest at Epiphany Middle School. It was an even bigger surprise when they beat the seventh grade and the eighth grade, too. And when they went on to even greater victories, everyone began to ask: how did it happen?

  1. This book is great so far. I've only read a few chapters, but it's interesting. It's from the viewpoint of 5 different people; a teaher and 4 students, Ethan, Nadia, Noah, and Julian. All of tham are extremely different, so it makes for a odd, but neat, book.

  5. I can see where your coming from. I thought so too, but it gets better. It's pretty much a collection of different, but related, short stories. If you don't like one, you'll like another.

    1. Actually, it is not a collection of short stories. It is one story told from different points of view by each of the people involved.
