Over the course of history men and women have lived and
died. In fact, getting sick and dying can be a big, ugly mess-especially before
the modern medical care that we all enjoy today. How They Croaked relays all
the gory details of how nineteen world figures gave up the ghost. Readers will
be fascinated well past the final curtain, and feel lucky to live in a world
with painkillers, X-rays, soap, and 911.

I THINK IT IS A GREAT BOOK AND IT ALSO GIVES A LITTLE HISTORY ON THE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY LIKE JULIUS CAESER CLEOPATRA ETC.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great book!! If you want to learn how many famous people died then you should really like this book. This book goes from King Tut all the way to Albert Einstein!!
ReplyDeleteI completly agree with you this book is highly recommended if you want to know how famous people died and, and some-what how they lived. Even though the point of the book was that even though they were sick, they kept moving toward their dream. Still you make a VERY good point. :)
Delete"How They Croaked" is a wonderful book! If you are looking for something strange to read, this is the book for you! This book has information about unusual deaths of famous people. It is very unique and you can read these stories again and again! This book is very enjoyable and i would recommend it!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you F1Lantz Castaneda

ReplyDeleteI have not started reading this book yet so from the cover of the book and the back of it I think this book is going to talk about some famous people and how they died. This book is probably going to be very interesting because the people did something to be famous.I hope this is going to be a really good book.
ReplyDeleteThis book was interesting in all sorts of ways! It teaches you about sicknesses, and how people like Christopher Columbus, Albert Einstien, and many more died, and what doctors did to cure it. Overall, How They Croaked was an amazing book. In addition to all the interesting facts, everyone was connected somehow! I would reccommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting and informative book.

I just started reading it and it already seems fantastic. King Tut's death was interesting.
DeleteI agree. It was suspenseful ever since the book started.
DeleteThis book was not what I expected it to be. It was a short book made up of 16 stories on how people died. It has disgusting parts, funny parts, I can't believe that parts, and extra facts. My favorite part would have to be the funny remarks the author made to lighten up the stories. I also was amazed at how people I like researching and learn about died.
ReplyDeleteThis book was very informative in every gory detail. One of the best books I have ever read.
ReplyDeleteI'm a LITTLE EINSTIEN. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nah, really I'm The voice of Leo! Or did Einstein Have Any Children???!!!! Mwahahahahaha I mean Dundundun
DeleteThis book was like a book ive never read! I really ended up enjoying it, it was intence in gory deteals though...! If you like famous people you will enjoy this book.
ReplyDeletethis book gives me the creeps, this is one thing that happends ,caesar had twennty-three stab wounds and was left there to die
ReplyDeleteThis book wasn't creepy, it was amazing to me expecaly when ceasar dies. :)

ReplyDeletei agree the book was one of my favorite books ive read
ReplyDeleteit was good
DeleteI agree, this book was very good.
DeleteThis book was really interesting. When you think of famous people, you think of what they did...not how they died. This book goes in full detail of "how they croaked".
ReplyDeleteI agree. you would think that a book about famous people would be.....why they were famous. It was a book you won't forget in good and bad ways.
DeleteI don't think it was that interesting I hated the book
DeleteI agree, in a biography of person usually they tell about how they lived their life, but this book tells about their death............

ReplyDeleteI agree with f6segeester. Highly recommended by me.
ReplyDeleteThis book is amazing. I was shocked at the end its very true.
ReplyDeleteI think that this book was interesting. I had no idea how these people died until I read this book.
ReplyDeleteThis book to me,well.....IT'S DISCUSTING,the way they describe different deaths from infection like, having doctors put their nasty fingers in a bullet hole in your back or having to suck fluids out of a hole in your stomach with a tube! I recomend this book for people with stong stomachs or kids 9+. I definitely agree with c6boyd-VERY GORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the best making waves book yet.
ReplyDeleteDear f2dahlquist,
DeleteI think that there are better making waves books than this.
i think this is the best making waves book @F6Staudt
DeleteI am not sure if I like this book or not because I have only read about 1 death so far. This book is very weird but, when someone said it was gory I dont think I agree with them because I dont think it is gory, well maybe a little bit for younger readers. So far this book is alright I think. VERY INTERESTING and not gory.!
ReplyDeleteI agree, that it not glory. But some part are prety bad.
DeleteI loved this book! It was cool to hear about how historical heros died.
ReplyDelete(Most because of the docters who "tryed" to help them)
I would recomend this book for people who don't always like to read
caesar did NOT have nice friends
ReplyDeleteDespite the eerie, dark nature of the book itself, this is a good read, and I enjoyed it. It's interesting to learn exactly how the people we look up to and learn about today, well, "croaked." I recommend this book to anyone who wants to go a little darker; or someone who is just interested in how famous people in history croaked. Spooky!
ReplyDeleteI like the book alot!!!!
