But when David and his best friend have a fight, David is
lucky enough to make a pretty cool new friend, Sophie—who just (gulp) happens
to be a girl. Sophie thinks David's videos are hilarious, and she starts
sending out the links to everyone she knows. Sophie's friends tell their
friends, and before David knows it, thousands of people are viewing his
videos—including some of the last people he would have expected.

I have not finished this book yet, but from what i have read, it's a very good and interesting story. It's about a boy who is starting middle school, that has a run-away mom that doesn't have any way of communicating besides writing letters, and has show on youtube. He meets a girl in his advanced math class and she finds the videos hilarious, so she tells her friends and they tell theirs and before he knows it thousands of people are watching his videos. Thats as far as i have gotten but i can not put the book down!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you f1seminario! This was a fantastic book and i can't wait to read more books!!!!
DeleteI agree with you! I stayed up all night reading. It was a really good book.
Deletei am like 1/2 done in just ssr!!!!!
Deletei just started this book yesterday, but what i have read so far, it's really good. It's about a boy named David Greenberg who posts talk show videos on Youtube. David lost his best friend and luckily made i new one (a girl named Sophie). Sophie loves David's videos so she decides to help him out by sending out the links to EVERYONE and tells her friends who tell their friends who tell their friends who tell thei friends, and so on. Eventually 1,000 people are viewing his videos.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you! I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to read more books from the same author!

ReplyDeleteWARNING:THIS IS NOT A SPOILER! This looks like a pretty good book and so far i like it im only in chapter 3.
ReplyDeleteI think the kid will be come famous doing his talk show Talk Time.
This book doesn't cuss but i prefer this book for a more mature group like ages 11+.
Other than the mature part i think this will be the best book EVER! (MAYBE) BTW:you'll love the hamster! BYEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Hey, F6Burgess!! I was reading comments and yours made me want to read this book! I totally agree with you, great book! One thing though, I don't think you would have to be too mature to read this book, although you are able to relate to this book better if you are in middle school, like the kid is. BTW: I did love the hamster! BYEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! ;)
Deleteyea F1lantz castaneda i knew someone would like the book and the hamster was so cool wish i had a hamster as a pet BYEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! ;) #want a hamster btw who else wants a hamster?
DeleteI agree with F6Burgess ,because this book is a great book. I would recomened this book to anyone. I wish I could have a hamster if it was this one.
Deletei wanr a hamster but i don't want what happened to hammy to happen to my hamster. i agree with F1Lantz Castenada i think that any age group maybe from 4th or 5th grade and up but u can totally relate better if ur in middles school especially 6th graders because we all know how scared were or a least nervous about comming to middle school and i can relate to how david felt about his cousin jack because my family members and relatives were telling horrible things but the truth is that middle school really isnt that bad.
DeleteThis a book I can relate to.It might be a third grade level book, but this book is funny, and I mean fun to the ny.I am in LOVE with this book.#yo this book is awesome BP P.S. turn side to see BP face!
ReplyDeleteThird-grade only refers to the vocabulary used in the book, not the content. In other words, you can write a very mature book using simple words. Some of the books you'll read in high school are written at a 4th grade level, but they're definitely NOT for 4th-graders!
DeleteI have not finished this book yet,but i thimk that it will end up having the character, David, will end up loving middle school and make up with Elliott
ReplyDeletei dont know i have not finshed but what ot looks like to me is that he and sophie will be best friends and countiune making viedos and become famous
DeleteI was very surprised at the ending! It must have been heartbreaking for David at during the last few chapters. (even though it never happened) I would so reccomend this book!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this book is going to be about a scardy cat boy that goes on to middle school. But the problem is how does this boy survive middle school.
ReplyDeleteI stilldon't know if I want to read this book. I check these blogs everyday to deside.Anyone think I should read it.Leave a comment please!
