Wonder


"I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse."

Due to a rare genetic disorder, August Pullman's head is malformed, his facial features are misshapen, and he has scars from corrective surgery. All his life he has seen the shocked expressions and heard the whispers his appearance generates, and he has his coping strategies. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid--but his new classmates can't get past Auggie's extraordinary face. WONDER begins from Auggie's point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.

    I got this book at my schol just today and I am already on chapter 7!I love this book so much.It is so amazing.I can not belive what has happened so far!!

    So far the book is boring.The little 1st grader is wierd.I think the book will be about him having trouble in school.I hope it gets better.

      I deffinetly disagree with you f1simon. I think this book is amazing and is funny.Even though the 1st grade is really wired.

    This book is amazing so far!I am now on Chapter 9 and so far this book is very funny!I totally recomend this book to everyone.Boys and girls!!I promise you will love this book.I know I am loveing it so far.Even though the main character is funny he is also a mess!!This is the best book I have ever read!

      F6carey,the book got better near the end ,but I don't think it was amazing.It was confusing .It wasn't near the best book I have ever read ,and I would NEVER read it again.

    This is a good book. Zinkoff may be weird but the end is my favirote part.

    I can not say any thing about this book because, I retured it without finshing it. I strongly disagree with everyone who says this book is good, great, or amazing. I thought it was so boring and so predictable. It was not a good book choice for me.
